3 Ways Seasonal Brands Stay Active in the Off-Season

For seasonal brands, one of the toughest times of the year is those off-season months when consumers aren’t really looking for the products and services they offer. How does a brand stay top of mind  for their fans during these times of the year? Well, hopefully today we can shed some light on a few tips to help brands stay active in the off season.

Focus on Brand Awareness

Take this time to really focus on driving home the awareness of your brand to your fans. Work to get them excited and hyped up to visit you during the on season. If you’re in the hospitality industry, focus on driving fans to sign up for newsletters and registering for their stay ahead of time (like our client The Outer Banks did). If you’re a brand that produces a time sensitive product, like swimwear, focus on content that gets fans prepping for swim season and highlighting your various styles for the upcoming year.

Show Fans the Perks of your Product

Show those interested in your products or services that they can be enjoyed all year round, not just during a set time of the year. Take time to create content that highlights the benefits of visiting a location during the off season, or show that a product can be used all year round. Consider using influencers or UGC (User Generated Content) to show off your product or service all year round. Continue to create amazing content that follows your brand voice but has that off-season twist.

Offer Deals and Promotions

One way to drive increased traffic to your website or location during off season months is to offer special deals or promotions. Create sweepstakes or contests that users can enter and win your product. Just be sure to have clear rules in place for such a contest. Offer price discounts on your products or services to attract people to check your brand out. This helps you to focus on improving sales and purchasing objectives during the time of year when people are less likely to think about your brand.

These are just a few ways you can keep your brand top of mind for your customers during the slow months of the year.
