Twitter Rolls Out Latest Feature to Androids
About a month ago, Twitter released its “While You Were Away” feature for iOS users. This week, Android users get to experience the non-optional functionality. The feature allows you to check in and quickly get up to speed on what you missed while you were… well away. No more scrolling to see what you may have missed. You will now see a recap of the top tweets since your last feed check. Hope you like it because, fortunately or unfortunately, you can’t turn this feature off.
Gmail Bug Causes Outrage on Twitter

The bug is surfacing through Gmail’s autocomplete, which is suggesting the incorrect emails, or in some cases, sending emails to unintentional recipients. As of the writing of this post, the bug has not yet been contained.
Video Popularity on Social Media Leads to New App
Hybrids are here, and we’re not talking cars, as the use of videos and images continue to increase on social networks, so has the user’s ability to control the imagery. A new app called “like YOYO” allows users to combine Gifs with video in a way that puts control in the end users hands. Viewers can fast forward, slow-mo or even make video loops go forward and backwards with just a drag of their mouse.
